The practical and attractive Saucette includes a melting bowl, whisk, ladle, and tea-light candle.
The Saucette can be used to warm up sauce or gravy, gently melt chocolate or butter, and is ideal for making home-made chocolates and chocolate fondue, because it keeps the contents warm without bringing it to the boil.
Recipe: Chocolate Fondue (serves 4 persons):
100 g of pure chocolate
½-1 dl of whipped cream
A small dash of cognac
Grated orange peal (optionally)
Break the chocolate in small pieces and let them melt in the sauce warmer (for approx. 6 minutes). Carefully heat the whipped cream and stir it through the chocolate, add cognac and grated orange peal to taste.
Delicious with fruit or ice cream... or both.
